AP YSR Asara Scheme 2023
Navaratanalu is the combination of nine social welfare schemes that are promised to be run by the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s government during the election. They include these schemes in their election manifesto and promised to the people that if the YSR government will come into power they will start the nine welfare schemes which include YSR Rythu Bharosa, Fee Reimbursement, Arogyasri, Jalayagnam, Ban on Alcohol, Amma Vodi, Paydalandariki Illu, Pensionla Pempu, and YSR Asara. YSR Asara has been launched for the DWCRA women. Under which the government is going to clear the pending dues of DWCRA women with banks till April 11, 2019.
Rs 6440 Crores Have Been Credited
On 7th October 2021, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy released the second tranche of YSR Aasara Scheme. The government has credited nearly Rs 6440 crore into the accounts of 78.76 lakh women who belong to 7.97 lakh self-help groups. The government is going to pay the outstanding loans of women self-help groups through this scheme which were of Rs 25517 crores. This amount will be credited into the account of beneficiaries in four phases.
- The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh has also addressed the public gathering. In this gathering he said that this scheme will be implemented in Kadapa district from 6 November 2021 to 15 November 2021 after the by-election for bevel assembly constituency.
- He also stated that the government of Andhra Pradesh has spent a total of 12759 crores towards the YSR Aasara Scheme in the last 28 months. This scheme was a part of the election manifesto. The government has taken various measures in order to support self-help groups.
- Now only 0.73% of self-help groups are notified as NPA and those with C and D grade levels have bounced back to A grades registering recovery rate of 99.5%
Payment Under YSR Asara Scheme
On Wednesday, 19th August 2020 Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has announced that the YSR Asara scheme will launch on 9th September 2020. Under YSR Asara Scheme, the government will clear all the pending dues of DWCRA women with banks till April 11, 2019, in four instalments. The government has sanctioned a total of Rs27,169 crore for four years. Out of which Rs 6,792.21 crore has been sanctioned on 11 September 2020 to DWCRA women in 2020-21 towards the first instalment. This scheme is beneficial for 9,33,180 groups with around 90 lakh members.

Objective of YSR Asara Scheme
